  Thank you, dear computer-knowledgeable friends, for your kind and patient help. A poet and dreamer -- alas! -- I cannot fully understand all that you have suggested I should do.

  I am taking the best of my 3 hand-me-downs (iMac PowerBook G4) to my computer-tech friend and have him clean it up for me. I'm using it now -- can you tell?!?!?!?

  Your willingness to help is much appreciated. My heart feels your love and concern; my right-brain persona, however, is useless as regards tech help. I tried the easier suggestions, and the red line has not receded in the least.

  My 3 computers are all from non-savvy friends, who left tons of stuff on their devices. Fortunately, my two iMacs have lots of space despite what I got saddled with.

  That explains the warning not to uninstall that I had read earlier, Vivianne -- Thanks!

  Thank you -- didn't realize that newer computers had so much space! Wondered why friends who don't have hand-me-downs like me could put so much stuff onto their laptops.

  My c drive is running out of space. And to my surprise the Low disk space problem persists after I free up disk space on my computer. I uninstalled a lot of programs.I thought that I have free space on my C drive. However, now I am running lower and lower on disk space. I have defagged my PC disk and I don't want to buy a new PC. Is there simple way to help me out of low disk space problem on c drive?

  PS: I had about 8 GB this morning before deleting unused programs, old docs, photos, etc.

  Things like this often make me think of the young ones I said goodbye to at the congregation. I wonder if they'll be okay, if theyll ever make it out, and if ever I might need to b there for them if they turn away from 'the truth'.

  My sentiments exactly, losingit.

  Many of my loved ones at the KH are not okay. For that reason, I have gone back -- physically. I solemnly grin and bear my way through the prop from the podium and then, afterwards, do all I can to be a warm and loving friend to these dear people who appear to know no better. I tried staying in touch from a distance; it simply has not worked. So many followed my lead and accepted "The Truth" upon my urging. I cannot leave them abandoned any longer.

  It's a personal choice. You'll do what's right for you and yours.
